Summer is just around the corner and we cannot wait for those long summer nights filled with good vibes and great food as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean. As we inch closer to these glorious days it’s time to start thinking about how we want to spend them and also where we want to spend them.
Perth has the luxury of many beachside restaurants with panoramic ocean views and is a wonderful place to have your morning brew, your midday lunch or sunset dinner.
A beautiful meal in front of you, your drink of preference in hand as the sun paints the sky over the ocean, seriously what more could you ask for? Here’s a list of a few wonderful waterfront spots to be sure to check out.
Lobster Shack
Cervantes
For those wanting a bit of an adventure, The Lobster Shack is located two hours North of Perth in Cervantes so be sure to make a day out of it, who doesn’t love a coastal road trip? The Lobster Shack is rightfully famous for its freshly caught Western Rock Lobster right along the coast of Cervantes.
The menu is filled with delicious and fresh seafood meals including lobster spring rolls, Aussie fresh oysters, battered Spanish mackerel, Australian chilli mussels and more! If seafood isn’t everyone in your party’s thing there is also an Angus beef burger or cheeseburger.
Whilst you are here you can also hire stand-up paddle boards to explore the water or book in for a sea lion tour and hang out with these entertaining creatures.
The Little Bay
Watermans
Little Bay is one of the most aesthetically pleasing restaurants you will come across along Perth’s coastlines with fresh earthy tones and chic coastal furniture. Take in the natural beauty of Watermans Bay while savouring locally produced, sustainable, and seasonal fresh food, craft beers, and wine. With ceiling-high glass windows, you will be sure to have a great view of the ocean from wherever you are seated with both indoor and outdoor options available.
Little bay serves breakfast and lunch and also has a takeaway coffee nook for on-the-go visitors.
